In this tutorial I will show you how to make a nice and clean button. This could be used in such graphics as signatures, banner, etc… So lets get started shall we?

First make a new document by going to File>New choose your size I choose 300×120. Next you get out the Rounded Rectangle Tool. And make a fair sized rectangle.

Now that the rectangle is made right click on the layer you just made and go to Blending Options, And put in the following.
Drop Shadow

Inner Shadow

Gradient Overlay

Now get out the Rounded Rectangle Tool again and underneath the first rectangle make one slightly bigger than the one you just made.

Right click that layer and put in the following.
Drop Shadow

Inner Shadow

Bevel and Emboss

Gradient Overlay

Now that that’s done go back to the first rectangle and hold Ctrl and click the layer.
After doing so it should look like this.

Now get the Elliptical Marquee Tool and hold down alt and drag it over the lined are to make this.

Make a new layer and fill it in.
And change the opacity of the layer I used 31%

Lets add the text, get the Type tool out and type your text.

Right click the text layer and go to Blending Options and add the following.
Outer glow

And you are done but you can still take it one step further. By adding a design or symbol I choose a tribal design.

And I lower the opacity down to 31%
