In this tutorial I will show you how to make a Metallic Team Icon for your forum.

First open up a document and choose the size you wish. I picked 120x35pixels.

Then go to the Rectangular Marquee Tool and make a rectangle on a new layer.

Now right click that layer and go to Blending Options and add the following.

Bevel and Emboss

Gradient Overlay

Now go to the first layer(background) and right click it and go to Blending Options. And add the following.

Inner Shadow

Bevel and Emboss

Gradient Overlay

Now add some text and add an Outer Glow to it and you are done.
