I wouldn’t say this is pro but it’s a pretty nifty way to use multiple layer filters together. I would have just used the perky ****** trick for shading (seriously search it. it’s a trick used when texture mapping avatar clothing in Second Life, IMVU, and other stuff).
Why are people complaining? If you know PS basics it’s easy to follow, all he did was tweak the render clouds filter then render 3D sphere. from there he just tweaked color and lighting values, used the circle Marque tool to select the “planet” and paste it on another BG. Easy.
